Import Process & Terms for European Partners

Blue Jay Vodka is produced and bottled in the Lviv region of Ukraine and is offered to importers and distributors in the European Union and wider Europe. Below is the standard process and the commercial conditions under which cooperation takes place.

The import process, step by step

  • Inquiry & introduction

You contact us through the form on this website or by e-mail, briefly describing your company, market, distribution channels (retail, HoReCa, duty-free) and expected volumes.

  • Commercial offer & product materials

We respond within 1–2 business days with a commercial offer, product presentation, specifications and, where requested, samples for evaluation and laboratory testing.

  • Documentation package

Before signing, we provide the full export documentation set: product specification and certificates of quality, kosher certificate, certificate of origin (EUR.1 where applicable), and label information required for your market.

  • Contract & order confirmation

We sign a supply contract defining assortment, prices, order volumes, payment terms and territory. Each order is confirmed by a pro-forma invoice.

  • Excise & customs formalities

Goods are shipped with export customs clearance completed on the Ukrainian side. Import customs clearance, national excise duties, strip stamps (where required) and VAT in the country of destination are handled by and are the responsibility of the importer. The importer must hold the authorisations required for alcohol imports in its jurisdiction (e.g. EORI number and an excise/registered consignee authorisation in the EU).

  • Logistics & delivery

Standard delivery terms are FCA Gorodok, Lviv region, Ukraine (Incoterms 2020). Goods are loaded onto the transport arranged by the buyer; on request we can assist in arranging carriage at the buyer's cost. Palletised, export-ready cartons for 0.7 L and 1.0 L bottles.

  • Launch support

After the first delivery we provide marketing materials, brand guidelines, packaging assets and positioning assistance, plus flexible promotional programmes for priority partners.

Commercial conditions

  • Delivery basis: FCA Gorodok, Ukraine (Incoterms 2020).
  • Indicative ex-works pricing: 0.7 L — €2.10 per bottle; 1.0 L — €2.20 per bottle. Final pricing is confirmed in the commercial offer and depends on volumes and configuration.
  • Product: vodka, 40% alc/vol, high-grade grain spirit, kosher certified, compliant with EU quality standards; no additives, gluten-free, sugar-free.
  • Formats: 0.7 L and 1.0 L frosted glass bottles; classic and seasonal gift cartons available.
  • Minimum order: negotiated individually — from mixed pallets for market testing up to full truck / container loads.
  • Payment: bank transfer in EUR; terms (prepayment share, deferrals for repeat orders) are fixed in the contract.
  • Labelling: label adaptation to national requirements (language, health warnings, importer details, deposit marks) is agreed per market before production.
  • Lead time: confirmed per order; standard production and loading window is agreed in the pro-forma invoice.

This page is a general description of the cooperation process and does not constitute a public offer. Specific terms are set out in the supply contract with each partner. Alcohol is intended only for persons of legal drinking age in the country of sale.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Blue Jay Vodka (“we”, “us”) processes personal data collected through this website, which is addressed to prospective business partners — importers and distributors of alcoholic beverages — and to visitors of legal drinking age.

1. Data we collect

  • Contact and business data you submit through the inquiry form or by e-mail: name, company name, business e-mail address, market/country, distribution channel and the content of your message.
  • Technical data processed automatically by our hosting provider for security and stability: IP address, browser type, date and time of access.
  • Age confirmation: a flag stored in your browser confirming that you have declared to be of legal drinking age. It is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.

We do not knowingly collect data from persons under the legal drinking age, and this website is not intended for them.

2. How we use your data

  • To respond to distribution and partnership inquiries and prepare commercial offers (legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To maintain business correspondence with existing and prospective partners (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To ensure security and technical stability of the website (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling. Data may be shared only with service providers involved in operating this website and our correspondence (e.g. hosting and e-mail providers) or where required by law.

Business contact data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes above, typically for the duration of our business relationship or negotiations plus applicable statutory retention periods.

3. Cookies & local storage

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use a single local-storage entry to remember your age-gate confirmation so you are not asked on every visit. It contains no personal data and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser data.

4. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the EU GDPR), you have the right to:

  • request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • request rectification or erasure of your data;
